The Rock returned to the ring -- for a match that lasted more than ten seconds -- for the first time in over a decade at WrestleMania XL.
The Rock teamed with Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event of night one.
“It’s incredibly hard,” The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) told PEOPLE about his training for the match. “The training becomes really extensive, and the training camp becomes extensive. So, I went [to] training camp for WrestleMania, which was about an eight- to nine-week training camp. It’s really fast, and fortunately, I was able to get through it all.”
The Rock previously revealed he trained with Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, & Wolfgang) ahead of WrestleMania XL.
The Rock appeared on the Raw After Mania and said his story with Cody Rhodes wasn't finished. He returned at WWE Bad Blood for a staredown with Reigns and Rhodes, but hasn't been back since.
It is unknown if or when The Rock will be back on WWE TV.
