The Rock responds.
Ahead of Friday's SmackDown on Fox premiere, Randy Orton took to social media to challenge The Rock for WrestleMania 36. The Rock and Orton previously squared off at WrestleMania 20 as part of a Evolution (Orton, Batista, & Ric Flair) vs. Rock N Sock (Mick Foley & The Rock) handicap bout.
.@TheRock I see you will be at #SmackdownOnFox this Friday. How about you & I have a discussion about who’s the greatest 3rd generation of all time and we answer that question April 5th in Tampa At Wrestlemania 36. A vipers sense of smell is unmatched. I smell what you’re cooking

The Rock was at SmackDown on Friday, but must have not run into Orton as The Viper was back on social media on Saturday trying to get The Great One's attention.
Miss you @JohnCena. -- ps: Can you talk to @TheRock and see what his #wrestlemania plans are for 2020? Asking for a friend. pic.twitter.com/Ly222EhUz4

Finally, on Sunday, The Rock took notice of Orton's challenge and offered up the following response.
U think Bob O Sr & Chief Maivia along with our pops’ Bob Jr & the Soulman ran up and down those roads for decades taking bumps just so we can sell out WM36 so you can RKO my ass thru the earth. My body’s still recovering from that Evolution beatdown you gave me at WM20 --

Orton was saddened over the response.
My man. So I guess that’s a ‘no’ -- https://t.co/2qDiBcb5Yy

While he may not face The Rock at WrestleMania 36, Orton still had a memorable Sunday as he defeated Ali at WWE Hell in a Cell.
