Roderick Strong Stretchered Out, MJF Retains, Andrade Wants His Mask, More | AEW Collision Recap

Here's your fight size update following the July 8 episode of AEW Saturday Collision:

- In the main event, Samoa Joe defeated Roderick Strong in the quarterfinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup Tournament.

After the match, in an effort to send a message to his opponent next week, CM Punk, Samoa Joe dropped Roderick Strong on a steel chair with the Emerald Fusion. Roderick Strong would be immediately attended to by medical personnel.

Adam Cole and CM Punk would also check on him as he was stretchered out of the arena to close the show. We will update fans on any news regarding Roderick's condition.

- In the opening bout, Maxwell Jacob Friedman made short work of an opponent before issuing an open challenge that Ethan Page answered. In an impromptu World Championship match, MJF successfully retained, utilizing the Heatseeker for the victory. MJF also used a dragon screw leg whip, showing that he perhaps learned something from Hiroshi Tanahashi.

- Miro decimated Anthony Henry tonight. Everyone else be damned. The Redeemer has returned.

- Will Hobbs and Ricky Starks also advanced in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament tonight. They will face off in the semifinals next week.

- Lady Frost lost to Kris Statlander in an AEW TBS Title match tournament.
