Athena is going to the Tokyo Dome.
On the December 12 episode of Ring of Honor, Athena defeated Red Velvet, Billie Starkz, and Leyla Hirsch to earn the right to qualify for the International Women's Cup Fatal 4-Way at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty 2025. Athena, the current ROH Women's World Champion got the victory by throwing out her protégé, Billie Starkz, and taking the moment to pin Red Velvet.
Athena will now represent Ring of Honor in a match that will also feature representatives from AEW, CMLL, and STARDOM.
