Things are about to get interesting.
During last week's edition of Ring Of Honor television "The American Nightmare" Cody announced that he would be receiving his rematch for the ROH World Championship at the 'Best In The World' PPV on June 29th. Cody lost the title at 'Final Battle' in December of 2017 to Dalton Castle and 'Best In The World' will be the first opportunity he's had to reclaim what was once his.
One individual who is close to Cody is his fellow 'Bullet Club' member Marty Scurll who picked up a clean victory over the ROH World Champion Dalton Castle at 'Masters Of The Craft' last month. Both men feel that they deserve a shot at the ROH World Title and on this week's edition of ROH TV it was announced that both Marty Scurll and Cody will receive their shot at the title as Dalton Castle will defend the ROH World Championship in a Triple-Threat match against both men on June 29th at 'Best In The World'.
Fightful will have full coverage of 'Best In The World' and also, if Cody can win back the ROH World Championship then he will have a decision to make that has to do with the NWA World Heavyweight Championship match that awaits him at 'All In'.
