It appeared all was well after the WWE Survivor Series event between Jey Uso and Roman Reigns, but looks can be deceiving.
Jey Uso started the Friday, November 27, 2020 episode of Friday Night SmackDown by introducing his cousin, the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. After Roman played a recap video of everything that happened between them at WWE Survivor Series, Roman proceeded to once again verbally berate his cousin saying that he failed to make his Survivor Series team respect him because they don't fear him and therefore they don't respect or fear Roman Reigns or their family.
Roman asked if Jey Uso allows himself to be treated that way because that is how he sees Roman. Roman would say that he doesn't walk around the locker room like a “bitch begging for Thanksgiving leftovers” and he's really sick of how his cousin continues to make him feel.

Much like in weeks prior, these words sent Jey Uso into a rage and when Otis, a member of the SmackDown Survivor Series team came out for his match with King Corbin, Jey Uso would assault and brutalize him with a steel chair, effectively canceling the impending matchup.
