The wrestling world came together on Monday night when Roman Reigns announced he would be taking time off to battle Leukemia, which had been in remission for 11 years. You van view his announcement in the video above.
Everyone from on-screen rival Braun Strowman, twitter rival Tama Tonga, Vince McMahon, John Cena and those from WWE, NJPW, ROH and other companies took to social media to lend their support to Reigns. On Tuesday, Reigns released his first comments since his heartbreaking speech to open Raw.
In taking time off, Reigns had to relinquish the Universal Title. He was scheduled to defend the belt against Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel on Nov. 2.
There is no timetable for Reigns' return to the company.
