Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion and current WWE star Ronda Rousey recently appeared on Ellen.
Ellen DeGeneres questioned whether or not Rousey would ever return to MMA, with the former fighter pretty much stating that no comeback is going to happen.
“I don’t know,” she said. “I think it’s just as likely as me going back to another Olympics for judo. No one demanded a written resignation from me for judo, and I don’t think the same thing is necessary for fighting, and I’m just doing what I enjoy. WWE is what I enjoy right now.”
Rousey’s final UFC appearance came at UFC 207, where she was decimated in less than a minute by UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes.
The former women’s bantamweight champion also admits that she is nervous leading into her WWE debut at WWE Wrestlemania 34.
“I’m nervous, but it’s not like, Olympics nervous,” she said. “The worst thing that can happen is I’ll look stupid, which is not the worst thing that could really happen. So I can’t think of the last time I was so excited for anything.”
At WWE Wrestlemania 34, it is going to be Rousey teaming up with Kurt Angle to face Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in a mixed tag team match.
