Rousey is grateful for how she has been treated thus far.
Next week WWE will be presenting their 31st annual SummerSlam PPV. The "Biggest Party Of The Summer" will be live on the WWE Network from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and with nine days to go there have been eleven matches announced for the show. One of those eleven matches is the RAW Women's Championship match which will feature the UFC Hall Of Famer Ronda Rousey looking to get her hands on her first piece of championship gold in WWE as she challenges the champion Alexa Bliss.
While Ronda has been putting Alexa Bliss on notice that Bliss' days as champion are running short, Ronda has also been doing promotional work for the movie 'Mile 22' which she is starring in. Ronda was present on the red carpet for the release of 'Mile 22' and while making her way down the red carpet she spoke with various media outlets including the Associated Press. While speaking with the outlet Ronda reflected on her time thus far in the WWE and she praised the company for setting her up for success and never giving her a task that they know she could not handle.
“It definitely surpassed my own expectations because that was the first time I had to… you know, learn a match, promos and all this stuff like in one day, on the day of." She said. "I showed up not knowing at all what was going to happen, and it was really, really nerve-wracking--I was super, super nervous because I’m used to having a lot more preparation. But, WWE has been amazing and they’ve been setting me up for success all along and they haven’t been giving me any bigger challenges than they know I can handle and I appreciate their faith in me and hopefully I can keep laying the track in front of the train while it's going and keep the ride going."
