Roxanne Perez: I'm Sad To See That Meiko Satomura Will Be Retiring, I Hope I Get To Face Her Again

Roxanne Perez wants to run it back with Meiko Satomura.

Roxanne Perez previously faced Meiko Satomura in 2022. She clashed with the veteran again at NXT Roadblock 2023. Satomura has not competed on WWE programming since then, but she wrestled at WWE's live events in Japan in July. She recently confirmed that she will be retiring in 2025.

Speaking with Stephanie Chase, NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez was asked about potentially facing Meiko Satomura one more time.

“Meiko Satomura was my dream opponent probably since I was 16 years old, so coming to WWE and right away getting two matches against her within a few months of me being there was just insane. I really think that she is, if not the best, one of the best women's wrestlers - not women's wrestlers - one of the best wrestlers in the entire world. I am sad to see that she is going to be retiring next year, but I really, really hope I get to have just one more match," Roxanne Perez said.
