Roxanne Perez comments on the current top tier of the NXT women's division.
The NXT women's division helped shift the overall view of women's wrestling in North America with groundbreaking competitors like Bayley, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair a decade ago. Those four women were known as the Four Horsewomen.
Today, Roxanne Perez heads up the NXT women's division. With the recent influx of talent, including Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and ZARIA, the division is again growing in strength and popularity.
Appearing on the In The Kliq podcast, Perez told Baby Huey that she believes herself, her best friend Cora Jade, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer are the new Horsewomen of NXT.
"So I actually saw a post about this the other day, and I agree with it very much. It would be me, Cora Jade, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia. I feel like we're a little alike in different ways, in the same way being that we have always wanted to be a part of the WWE since we were young, we put in those years, those 1,000 hours to become great, and now we're able to to be a part of the greatest women's division in the world, and I think that that has a lot to do with us four women."
All four of those women, ZARIA, TNA's Jordynne Grace, and more will be on display at NXT 2300 at the former ECW Arena on November 6. Check out the full card here.
