If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit.
In recent weeks, Matt Cardona has shared a series of videos on social media. First, he brought back the Zack Ryder character for a new episode of Z! True Long Island story, and the clip ended with Ryder and Persia Pirotta getting into a limo, which seemingly exploded. Then, The RyderTaker, who appeared to be Cardona in a costume played mind games with Steph De Lander. In the next video, Cardona was in jail, and Mark Sterling told him that his odds didn't look very good.
Cardona posted a new video on June 14. The clip opened with a "Law & Order: Pro Wrestling" title screen before it panned to Steph De Lander stating that Cardona pled not guilty to the charges of grand theft auto, gimmick infringement, arson, and triple murder. Cardona wondered where Sterling was, and De Lander said Tony Khan needed him. De Lander presented her case, as she had Cardona try on the RyderTaker glove. When it didn't fit, she told the judge he must acquit.
When the judge needed more evidence, De Lander played a clip that showed Cardona was at home with his "hot WWF Diva wife" Chelsea Green. The clip was actually of Cardona playing with figures of himself and Green. The combination of the evidence convinced the judge, as he ruled that Cardona was not guilty.
