Sammy Guevara is cleared, and he is coming for revenge.
Sammy Guevara returned to AEW programming on the February 2 episode of AEW Rampage. Fans had not seen him since AEW Battle of the Belts IX on January 13. There, he and Chris Jericho challenged Ricky Starks and Big Bill for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Powerhouse Hobbs and Konosuke Takeshita interfered, as Hobbs pulled Starks out of the way when Guevara dove off part of the stage. Jericho latter announced that Guevara was injured.
Guevara returned on the first episode of Rampage in February and expressed his frustration about the loss. He emphasized that his wife and his daughter were counting on him, so Hobbs and Takeshita cost him more than a match. Guevara announced that he was medically cleared, and he was coming for Hobbs.

Later in the show, Hobbs and Callis responded. They made it clear that Hobbs was on the hunt for Guevara, as he had his own family to take care of, so he should hope that the powerhouse did not find him first.
