Sammy Guevara details his concussion.

Sammy Guevara returned to AEW TV on Wednesday after being sidelined since AEW WrestleDream when he teamed with Konosuke Takeshita & Will Ospreay to defeat Chris Jericho & Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi). Guevara suffered a concussion and was out until December 5 when he announced he was cleared.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Guevara detailed how he got a concussion.

"That was crazy. I do the cutter so much. The stupidest things. This cutter, that I do all the time, this time I just bonked my head on the canvas and saw the future. If you go back, you can tell, 'maybe he's not good.' I didn't know at that time. They had a match booked for me that Wednesday, and I thought I was good. It wasn't until a couple of days later that I was really feeling it and then Tay contacted the doctor. The lights were bothering me. I had a headache. They obviously took me off, let me chill, sent me to some people to see. That was probably the longest I've been out," he said.

Guevara is set to return to competition at AEW Worlds End when he teams with Chris Jericho, Sting, & Darby Allin to take on Kyle Fletcher, Powerhouse Hobbs, Ricky Starks, & Big Bill.
