Ricky Saints is relinquishing the DEFY World Championship.
Saints (formerly Ricky Starks) said opportunity knocked and he had to answer, and that it's bittersweet that he is relinquishing the championship.
Saints won the championship from KENTA on February 7th.
A new champion will be crowned in the DEFY Super 8x Grand Prix on March 15.

Saints made a surprise appearance on the February 11th episode of NXT and officially signed with the brand the following week.
