The rivalry between The Inner Circle and Jaxson de Ville is not over.
At AEW Double or Nothing, Chris Jericho knocked out Jacksonville Jaguars mascot Jaxson de Ville with a violent Judas Effect. The spot took place as part of the Stadium Stampede match between the Inner Circle and The Elite. Jericho later revealed that the NFL didn't want the spot in the match, but Tony Khan told him it would be fine.
During the Thursday Night Football game between the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars, the big screen at TIAA Bank Stadium replayed the Stadium Stampede bout at halftime. Jaxson de Ville got a measure of revenge on Sammy Guevara, hitting the RKO into the pool.
Halftime was about the only thing that went right for the Jaguars as they were easily defeated 31-13 by the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.
