Cody and Brandi Rhodes have officially departed from AEW.
The announcement was made on Tuesday morning by Tony Khan and AEW with both of them confirming the news. Cody & Brandi helped start AEW in 2019 with Cody serving as one of the four Executive Vice Presidents and Brandi filling the role of the Chief Brand Officer.
Along with their office positions, they held prominent roles on television with Cody winning the AEW TNT Championship three times and Brandi working as a wrestler and manager.
After news of their departures, many AEW talents took to social media to comment and thank them for their contributions.
Cody & Brandi opened the door which led to a lot of my success. Literally changed my family’s life for the better. They are my family. I am forever grateful for that and wish them nothing but the best in whatever they do next! #NightmareFamily pic.twitter.com/ADz7jQZcF0
