The ESPY Award goes to...
On July 10, the 29th annual ESPY Awards were held from The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York. One of the categories at the show is for Best WWE Moment. The nominees included Bianca Belair and Edge for their Royal Rumble victories, Bad Bunny for his WrestleMania match, and Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks for their history-making WrestleMania main event.
It was eventually revealed that Sasha and Bianca took home the honor. They were the first Black women to main evented WrestleMania. On that night, Belair defeated Banks to win the SmackDown Women's Championship.
In 2019 when the award was introduced, Roman Reigns won for his triumphant return after a recurrence of Leukemia.

Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks just made history… again!
In a category that also featured Belair and Edge’s Royal Rumble Match victories, as well as Bad Bunny’s incredible in-ring debut, it was the epic WrestleMania main event between The EST of WWE and The Boss for the SmackDown Women’s Championship that won the ESPY Award for Best WWE Moment.
As the first Black women to battle in a WrestleMania main event, they joined Roman Reigns, who won the same award in 2019 for his inspirational return after battling leukemia.
Congratulations to SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and “The Boss” Sasha Banks on a history-making and award-winning performance!
