Sasha Banks Calls Wrestling At WWE Crown Jewel One Of The Top Three Moments Of Her Career

Sasha Banks commented on the significance of her performance at WWE Crown Jewel.

This past Thursday, October 21, WWE presented its Crown Jewel event from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. One of the marquee matches on the card was a triple threat match between Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women's Championship. The Man would retain the title, pinning Banks while grabbing the bottom rope for some added leverage.

Appearing on the latest episode of Talking Smack (available now on the WWE Network and NBC's Peacock), Banks said that being in Saudi Arabia, making history, and giving countless people hope was a top-three career moment for herself. Here are her full remarks:

"It didn't quite go my way. I almost had the win if Becky didn't cheat and grab that rope. But, being in Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh, was something so special. It has to be in the top three moments of my career. To go out there, and I couldn't get emotional -- to go out there and to see those fans, to see those kids. To point at them and they're pointing back at me, I've never felt something just so impactful and so amazing. To be in the ring with two incredible women who I respect so much, we created so much magic and made history and gave so much hope to thousands, to millions of people watching at home. It was something that I'm going to remember the rest of my life and I'm so honored to be there."

During SmackDown on October 22, Banks confronted Charlotte Flair after she and Becky Lynch swapped their Raw and SmackDown titles. The Boss attacked The Queen, hitting a Meteora on the outside to end the show, making it known that she's next in line for a championship opportunity.

Earlier today it was reported that Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair got into a "heated confrontation" backstage following the WWE Women's Title exchange to close SmackDown with "loud words being exchanged" but no physicality. Learn more here.
