Serena Deeb made her return to the ring on AEW Collision.
Former NWA World Women's Champion Serena Deeb had been out of action since October 2022, but she returned to the ring on the January 27 episode of AEW Collision. She battled Robyn Renegade in a singles match, and the veteran controlled the action. Deeb ultimately scored the submission victory to make a statement with her return.

Deeb then grabbed a microphone and addressed the fans. She made it clear that she was happy to be back, as she had been on the sidelines for a long time. Deeb then named her reasons for coming back. She vowed to elevate the women's division, put the wrestling back on All Elite Wrestling, and become a champion.
