Seth Rollins Doesn't Want Cody Rhodes' Soul, But He Does Want His Undisputed WWE Championship

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins exchanged words on Monday's WWE Raw

Cody addressed The Rock's offer of wanting Cody to be "his" champion in exchange for his soul. Cody said the decision is weighing heavily on him as it not only affects him, but it affects everyone in his family and what his potential legacy could be.

Cody was interrupted by Seth Rollins, who noted it was the first time they've shared the ring since WrestleMania XL. Seth asked Cody, "What the hell are you thinking?" Seth reminded Cody of the lead up to WrestleMania XL and said the fact that Cody didn't slap Rock was a slap to Seth. "Do not make me regret everything I sacrificed to help you win that WWE Championship."

Seth said if the title is weighing on him and becoming too much, well it wasn't too much for him.

Cody wondered if The Rock asked him for his soul and not Seth because Seth's was already compromised, bringing up that Seth hit him with a sledgehammer before he went off for surgery and Seth split up The Shield. He then called Seth the MVP of WrestleMania XL for being his shield.

Seth said he might be protecting Cody because he doesn't want Cody to be filled with hate like he has for all the these years based on decisions he made in the past. Seth said he would win Elimination Chamber and he wants to face the Cody Rhodes who returned to the company, who he battled with inside Hell in a Cell, and who he helped win the Undisputed WWE Champion.

Seth closed by saying he wasn't coming for Cody's soul, but he was coming for his title.

On Friday's WWE SmackDown, The Rock stated he wanted Cody to be "his champion," and in return he wanted Cody's soul. Cody is set to give The Rock his answer at WWE Elimination Chamber.
