Seth Rollins talks Jon Moxley's exit from WWE.
Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose in WWE) has already moved on from his WWE life and is living it up in AEW, NJPW, and the Independent scene. But his exit from WWE was an emotional rollercoaster that saw Moxley fade into the background, even missing WrestleMania 35, before The Shield reformed for one last run.
Speaking to ACWrestling, Rollins revealed what Moxley said to him before walking out the door.
"He gave me a big hug and said, 'I love you brother. It's not goodbye. I'll see you sometime.' We're always going to be bonded. I wish him the best and you haven't seen the last of us together. I'm sure at some point down the road, we'll be putting the fists together. I can't say when and I can't say for sure but there's this feeling in my gut that we're going to be brothers and bonded forever."
Moxley's last match in WWE took place on Apr. 21 when The Shield defeated Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley & Drew McIntyre. After winning the IWGP United States Title in NJPW, Moxley made a successful debut on the US Indie scene, defeating Darby Allin and Big Cass in Northeast Wrestling.
