Seth Rollins Says his iconic white gear from SummerSlam 2015 will not be making a comeback, and it's at the request of Vince McMahon.
Video has surfaced on Twitter of Seth Rollins being asked at a signing, while signing the box of vinyl POP Figure where he is wearing the gear, if the white and gold attire would ever return. The uncharacteristically bright gear for Rollins has become something of a crowd favorite, but don't expect to see it back any time soon.
"No. Vince won't let me wear it. Because he's a weird old man who doesn't understand that people think it's the coolest gear they've ever seen. Yeah. He doesn't get it. I get that question more than anything else. What does that mean? It's just huge, man. People loved it I think it's in the archive. I gave it to our archivist guy. He puts it up at all the Axxesses and stuff."
Not great news for those affectionate towards the ring gear. However, this isn't Rollins' first rodeo as it pertains to having elements of his character kept away from WWE TV. At one point Vince McMahon had also banned the Curb Stomp finisher and while that maneuver did disappear for a few years, he now proudly uses the move every night that he wrestles.
