Seth Rollins States That His WrestleMania 31 Cash-In Was A "Very Last Minute Thing"

Seth reflects on his moment.

In April of 2015 at WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara, CA, a moment occurred that has been looked upon by wrestling fans as the greatest Money In The Bank cash-in in WWE history. The moment is also known and referred to as the "Heist Of The Century". The man responsible for that "heist" is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins. Rollins cashed-in the Money In The Bank contract during the main event of WrestleMania 31 which was a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

Rollins competed on that very WrestleMania card in the second match of the show where he lost to Randy Orton. Just a few hours after his loss, Seth Rollins became WWE World Heavyweight Champion and while recently promoting WWE's 'Super Show-Down' stadium show in Australia, 'News.com.au' interviewed "The Architect" and Seth reflected on his career-defining moment.

“I didn’t know for sure until the middle of the show (it was happening),” Rollins stated. "I had a match with Randy Orton early in the day and then I was sequestered backstage and informed that would be the plan at the end of the night. It honestly was a very last-minute thing.” Rollins continued, "We were getting close to having to get off the air, so maybe it wouldn’t have happened. I was glad I didn’t tell anyone and have that bad luck or that I had jinxed himself.”

Seth Rollins along with his 'Shield' brethren will be in action at WWE Super Show-Down on October 6th. To read about the recent announcements for the show, click here.
