Seth Rollins answers some burning questions ahead of Royal Rumble 2022.

Seth Rollins has proven that even though Roman Reigns may be above The Shield fist bump, Seth Rollins is above brand designations.

With the draft having just been completed this past October, this kind of interpromotional activity is not typical in WWE. Many fans were questioning what would happen if Seth Rollins wins the title, would Seth Rollins just go back to SmackDown, or would the WWE Universal Championship move over to Monday Night Raw, leaving SmackDown without a World Championship?

During an appearance on the Kevin Owens Show on January 17, 2022, Seth Rollins confirmed that should he win the title at the Royal Rumble, he will take the title back to Monday Night Raw. Seth Rollins was the last official Monday Night Raw Superstar to hold the WWE Universal Championship.

He lost the title to Bray Wyatt at WWE Crown Jewel 2019, and Bray Wyatt officially took the title to SmackDown, changing the color of the strap from red to blue.

We will have full coverage of the Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 29.
