Dark clouds hang over WrestleMania 37. Literally.
Fans inside Raymond James Stadium have been told to seek coverage in the concourse area as severe weather moves through Tampa. Lightning and rain are expected in the area. You can see photos and videos from the scene inside and around Raymond James Stadium in the media below.
The stadium announced that the parking lot is temporarily closed due to the weather.
At 5:44 p.m. ET, the stadium announced the lightning threat has passed and all parking lot and gates are back open.
Ryan Satin of Fox Sports said at 6:06 p.m. ET that fans are being allowed back to their seats.
Stephanie McMahon tweeted at 5:58 p.m. ET that WrestleMania 37 begins promptly at 8 p.m. ET.
As of now, WWE has not announced any change of plans regarding WrestleMania 37. The event is still scheduled to begin with the kick-off show at 7 p.m. ET.
