Shane Taylor and Mark Briscoe go back and forth.
ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe took to Twitter/X to note that he enjoyed AEW's night full of wrestling on May 18. He noted that he had been catching up on a lot of TV wrestling while he was on paternity leave.
Shane Taylor responded by telling Briscoe to bring his title with him when he came back. Taylor claimed that Briscoe was in his spot.
When you get back from vacation "Champ" gone head & bring that @ringofhonor World Championship with you!

I'll make sure you spend a lot of time at home --------
The real one's know, you're in MY SPOT! @SussexCoChicken#RumbleBadManRumble #STP #AEWCollision #AEWDynamite https://t.co/ZvvsXTJAXH
Briscoe fired back by saying that was big talk from someone who had not picked up a meaningful win since the Sinclair-era of ROH. He stated that Taylor knew where to find him, and he was always down to rumble.
Big talk for a dude who ain’t picked up a meaningful win since Sinclair-era ROH…

All the TV time ain’t making you soft, is it Shane??
You know where to find me, and you already know, I’m always down to RUMBLE#DemBoys
Taylor replied by saying that he smacked Mark and his brother Jay around in the Sinclair era. He stated that Shane Taylor Promotions dominated that era, and he was still that guy. Taylor wrote that no amount of triumph or tragedy got his success, it was earned. He wondered whether Mark could say that and dared him to put it to the test.
You mean that era I smacked you AND your brother in?

The era STP DOMINATED w/o the company execs?
I'm STILL that guy, you know it & THEY know it.
No amount of triumph or TRAGEDY got my success. It was earned
Can YOU say that? Let's find out!#RumbleBadManRumble @ringofhonor https://t.co/H8vOhN7A2O
Taylor and Briscoe kept trading shots, as the champion said that Taylor had an "ass whoopin'" coming the next time they faced each other. Taylor replied by telling Mark to lace up his boots and saying that all they needed was for officials to make the match.
Then lace them boots up champ & watch me sweep the whole family name!

You know where I'm at and what I'm about.
All we need is for @aew & @ringofhonor officials to make the fight!#RumbleBadManRumble https://t.co/SDR9OGqAhf
As of this writing, there is no word on when Mark Briscoe will return to AEW/ROH TV.
