Shane Taylor wants to fight SuperKliq.

AEW has talked about introducing a potential Trios Championship many times through the years. Currently, The Young Bucks and Adam Cole are one of the top three-man teams in all of AEW, with no gold to prove their claim.

Shane Taylor is very proud of the work that he and Shane Taylor Promotions have done and Ring of Honor and he says that if AEW were to create a Six-Man Tag Team Championship and if The Young Bucks and Adam Cole were to win the championship, they would be paper champions until they tested their skills against Shane Taylor Promotions

Speaking on the latest Battleground Podcast, Shane Taylor said he is more than willing to walk through The Forbidden Door and face the executive vice presidents and their best friend.

"Now when we talk about trios wrestling when you talk about six-man tag team wrestling the name on everybody's tongue right now is STP. So anybody talking about they're the best unless they're standing across the room from us unless they hold what we have is lying. For me, listen, you've got the EVPs and you've got guys with stroke there. If The Bucks and/or Cole want to really test what they're saying, we're only a call away and anybody else from any other company either that wants it with us, we have no problem punching you in the face either."

Taylor added, "I mean, here's the thing, man. When you control who can come in and out of the door, you get to say that right? You get to shape your narrative of history now. Them being proud guys like I know they are, they can walk around with paper championships if they want to. But I'm pretty sure they're gonna hear about it every single day on social media until they step in the ring with us that they aren't the best trio in the sport of professional wrestling. It's STP."

As of yet, AEW has not confirmed when or if they will introduce a Trios Championship. They will be introducing a TBS Championship on January 5 when their primary show, Dynamite, moves to the TBS Network.

AEW will be sending Jay Lethal to Ring of Honor Final Battle: The End of an Era as a substitute for Bandido who tested positive for COVID-19. Learn more here.

We will have live coverage of Ring of Honor Final Battle: The End of an Era as it goes down on Saturday, December 11.
