Shinsuke Nakamura And Jeff Hardy United States Championship Match Rescheduled For Extreme Rules

Jeff Hardy will be defending his United States Championship at Elimination Chamber.

Last week, Jeff Hardy was scheduled to defend his United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura on Smackdown Live but Nakamura was removed from the match after being bitten by an explosive detecting police dog. Hardy still held his open challenge and faced Eric Young of Sanity.

This week, Hardy faced the Miz in another Championship defense but later in the show a match was created by General Manager Paige. Hardy will defend his Championship at Extreme Rules against Nakamura.

The match will be the fourth Championship defense of Hardy's reign since he became Champion and then moved to Smackdown as part of the Superstar Shakeup

Hardy and Nakamura last met in June when Hardy won via disqualification after Nakamura hit him below the belt.
