The King of Strong Style is back.
WWE announced that Shinsuke Nakamura will return on the April 14 episode of WWE SmackDown.
An opponent for Nakamura, should he be wrestling, was not announced. Nakamura hasn't competed in a televised WWE match since November 11, 2022 when he faced Santos Escobar in the first round of the SmackDown World Cup. He hasn't wrestled a WWE match since January 22 at a live event.

Nakamura did travel to Japan to compete against The Great Muta (Keiji Mutoh) in what was Muta's final singles bout.
Muta was inducted into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame.
Plus, Xavier Woods and LA Knight clash once again. Woods defeated Knight on the March 17 episode of WWE SmackDown. On Friday's SmackDown, Knight wasn't pleased that he was left off WrestleMania and took his frustrations out backstage with Woods.
Here is the updated lineup for next Friday's WWE SmackDown:
WWE SmackDown (4/14)
- Shinsuke Nakamura returns
- LA Knight vs. Xavier Woods
