LA Knight successfully defended his WWE United States Championship on the November 15th episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating Berto in an open challenge.
After the match, Knight was attacked by a returning Nakamura.
Nakamura laid out Knight with the Kinshasa.

Nakamura has not wrestled on television since the April 22nd episode of WWE Raw, losing to Sheamus. He has been active at WWE live events.
