SmackDown Viewership Drops For Cena vs Jinder On SummerSlam Go-Home Show

Last night's episode of SmackDown, the Go-Home show for SummerSlam, featuring an advertised main event between John Cena and WWE Champion Jinder Mahal drew 2.530 million viewers, according to Show Buzz Daily. This is down about 2% from 2.584 million viewers that watched last week's show. 

The episode came in at #5 in viewership on cable last night, behind Rachel Maddow, Last Word, Tucker Carlson and Hannity. SmackDown did take the #1 spot in the highly coveted 18-49 demographic.

In comparison, Monday's episode of RAW drew 3.233 million viewers, about 22% more than SmackDown.
