The contentious relationship between Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce came to a head on May 9 when Pearce relieved Deville of her duties as an on-screen official. Pearce fired Deville due to misconduct as she interfered in matches, attacked competitors, and abused her power.
No longer being an on-screen official and working directly alongside Pearce, Deville has now returned to the ring in a full time capacity. In her first match back as a full-time competitor, Pearce booked her against a returning Alexa Bliss, who was victorious in the bout.
Speaking to Phil Strum on Under The Ring, Deville was asked who she would like to see Pearce against.
"I would love to personally get my hands on him, just from all the crap he's put me through the past year and a half and just firing me out of absolutely nowhere is so ridiculous, so I'd love to get my hands on him. I'd also take a lot of joy in feeding him to Brock, fully letting Brock get his hands on him and not stopping Brock. The first go-round was kind of funny," she said.
Lesnar was "suspended" by Pearce in October 2021 after attacking him and leaving him laying.
Pearce remains in his spot as a WWE official while Deville has yet to win since her return to competition, suffering another loss to Bliss.
