Lince Dorado Becomes New World Middleweight Champion On 1/12 MLW Fusion

A new champion has been crowned on the January 15 MLW Fusion.

Former WWE competitor Lince Dorado defeated DragonGate competitor Shun Skywalker to capture the MLW World Middleweight Championship inside the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Afterward, Dorado cut a passionate promo reminiscing on an injury he suffered in the very same arena back in 2007.

Dorado was later confronted by Cesar Duran, who returned on January 12 and attempted to sign the new MLW Middleweight Champion to his Azteca Lucha brand.

Dorado, released by WWE on November 4, 2021, recently announced that he would not be taking bookings for 2023.

This win marks his first major singles championship.
