Another new name appeared at the AEW Dark tapings at Universal Studios

AEW held its latest set of Dark tapings at Universal Studios on Friday, December 3. During the taping, a current ROH Champion made his debut. Read below to find out.

ROH Pure Champion Josh Woods competed at the AEW Dark tapings, taking on Shawn Spears. Woods won the ROH Pure Title at Death Before Dishonor 2021 when he defeated Jonathan Gresham. He is scheduled to defend the title against Brian Johnson at ROH Final Battle on December 11.

ROH previously announced that they will no longer be running live events, with the exception of Final Battle on December 11, until April with Super Card of Honor. Not only will ROH go on a live event hiatus, talent contracts will not be renewed if they are expiring at the end of the year but those still under contract will be paid through March 31.
