Two big names have appeared on day two of the NXT UK TV tapings.
WWE is continuing to reel in some of the top talents from the independent wrestling scene and that was exampled today when former wXw Unified World Wrestling Champion Ilja Dragunov made his NXT UK debut in a dark match against Ashton Smith at today's television taping at the SkyDome Arena in Coventry. Also making her first appearance for the NXT UK brand was former two-time ICW Women's Champion and inaugural Mae Young Classic competitor Viper.

It was reported last month that Ilja Dragunov was set to sign with WWE and join the NXT UK brand. Dragunov pulled out of some of the bookings that he had scheduled prior to his signing but he has been announced for PROGRESS Wrestling's 'Super Strong Style 16' tournament along with fellow NXT UK star Travis Banks and recent NXT signee Trevor Lee.
Viper is set to compete at ICW's 'Square Go' show tomorrow and she has been on the road with World Of Sport for their live event tour. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported in January that Viper and Kay Lee Ray were expected to sign with WWE and a vignette for Kay Lee Ray's debut aired on the latest edition of NXT UK.
