NXT UK held their second set of television tapings today in Liverpool. During the tapings, two more matches were announced for NXT UK TakeOver on Jan. 12.

First, a new set of champions will be crowned as Zack Gibson and James Drake will face Tyler Bate and Trent Seven to crown the first-ever NXT UK Tag Team Champions at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool. Drake and Gibson defeated Mark Andrews and Morgan Webster to move on to the finals.

Also announced for TakeOver is a No Disqualification bout between Eddie Dennis and Dave Mastiff. Dennis and Mastiff battled at the most recent set of tapings, but the bout ended in a double-DQ. As a result, NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint booked a rematch for TakeOver.
