Stephen Amell hopes to return to wrestling in some capacity.
'Arrow' actor Stephen Amell has worked a couple of matches in his career, most notably at WWE SummerSlam 2015 and All In, and he hopes to return to the ring in some capacity before "Heels" season two premieres on Starz.
"I think what I'm going to try to do is...I'm going to try to do something with WWE or AEW around the launch of the second season. We'll see. Whatever that is," Amell said at Popcon.
When asked who he'd like to wrestle, Amell said, "Cody Rhodes." AJ Styles was then suggested, to which Amell replied, "AJ Styles, that could be good. Darby Allin, I like Darby Allin a lot."
No premiere date for "Heels" season two has been announced.
During a Q&A as part of Popcon (via WrestleMap), Amell offered more insight into a potential wrestling return, saying if he returned to wrestling, he wanted to be a bad guy to keep with the promotion of "Heels."
According to reports, Jordynne Grace, Serena Deeb, and other have filmed roles in "Heels" season two. CM Punk was part of season one.
It is unknown if Amell will return to the ring.
