Stephen Amell will be in attendance at Arthur Ashe Stadium for the upcoming All Elite Wrestling event.
Stephen Amell was a part of the event that was the genesis of AEW. That being, of course, All In. At that event, Stephen Amell faced Christopher Daniels. Amell also has ties to AEW because of his relationship with Cody Rhodes. He had been in a tag team match with Cody at SummerSlam in 2015 and he also worked with Cody in the Arrow series.
Currently, he works with CM Punk on his new series, Heels, and has partnered with Brandi Rhodes and Chris Jericho for special releases with his wine company, Nocking Point Wines.
Now, Stephen Amell has announced that he will be in attendance at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam and he says he will bring his ring gear in a new live stream on Instagram.
Tony Khan says that between the two of them being taped at Arthur Ashe Stadium there will be 11 matches with the full card for Rampage being announced tonight on Rampage.
“Grand Slam will be a television event. I'm going to try and set it up tonight on Rampage, we'll announce the full card for Grand Slam tonight. I'm planning an 11 match card across the two shows, it's going to be a special two-hour Rampage at 10 o'clock next week on TNT. We've never done that before with four hours of TV. It's the biggest television event in AEW history, which is really saying something because we've had a lot of number one shows and big events," Tony said on the most recent episode of Busted Open Radio.
