This marks the first reign as AEW Tag Team Champions for Sting & Darby Allin. Sting and Allin remain undefeated as a tag team in AEW. Starks & Bill held the titles for 124 days, winning them on the October 7 episode of AEW Collision. They made three successful title defenses.
This was Sting's first title victory since winning the TNA World Heavyweight Title in 2011.
