Sting has returned to AEW!
In the main event of the June 17 episode of AEW Rampage, Darby Allin defeated Bobby Fish, but was attacked by Fish and Kyle O'Reilly after the bell. As O'Reilly was approaching with a steel chair, Sting's music hit. The Icon came out with his baseball bat and disposed of O'Reilly on the outside. Darby was then able to pin Fish's leg in the chair and slammed onto it with a Coffin Drop.
Following the May 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, the promotion announced that Sting had been injured and would miss Double or Nothing weekend. The injury was sustained the week prior when Sting had his leg pinned in a chair by The Undisputed Elite and had it stomped on by Kyle O'Reilly.
