Sting will have his last match at AEW Revolution 2024, but it won't be his next match.
On the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Sting agreed to team with Darby Allin and another partner to face Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, and Luchasaurus at AEW Full Gear.
Christian Cage made the challenge, saying Sting could have Ric Flair as his partner if he wanted. Christian also noted Sting's retirement would come early, and it would be a funeral.
Sting did not accept Flair as his partner, hinting at finding a different man to team with himself and Darby.
Ric Flair was the special gift presented to Sting by Tony Khan.
