William Regal has changed up the Karrion Kross vs. Santos Escobar bout for Wednesday's NXT.
NXT General Manager William Regal announced the match between Kross and Escobar will now be contested under No Disqualification rules. If Santos does not participate, not only will he be stripped of his NXT Cruiserweight Championship, but he will be suspended as well.
The bout was originally scheduled for the February 17 episode of NXT, but Escobar made the decision to go home as he wanted the match under his terms.
In consideration of the difference in each competitors “interest” in their match I’ve decided to raise the stakes. @WWEKarrionKross vs @EscobarWWE will now be a #NoDQMatch & if our Cruiserweight Champion does not participate, he will be stripped of his title & suspended. #WWENXT
