Stone Cold Steve Austin says he has watched his match with Kevin Owens and knows that he can improve on what he gave the WWE Universe back in 2022.

The very idea of Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestling in 2022 seemed like a pipe dream until it happened. Stone Cold Steve Austin closed out the first night of WWE WrestleMania 38 in a No Holds Barred Match against Kevin Owens. That would be Steve Austin's first match in 19 years since his retirement match against The Rock at WWE WrestleMania XIX.

During a recent interview with Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Austin revealed that he watched the match back and knows that he can improve on his performance. However, don't expect him to lace up a pair of boots anytime soon.

"I dissected what I did, and I know that I can improve on what I did," Austin told ESPN in a recent interview. "I said I'd never get in a ring again unless all the stars aligned. For some reason, somehow, they all did. At the age of 57, I headlined the first night of WrestleMania. I never thought I'd do that. If you'd have told me that when I retired in [2003], I'd have said, 'You're crazy.' So I'm not gonna sit here and say no to anything because you never say never in this crazy business of sports entertainment."

Austin admits that he loves the pro wrestling industry more than anything else in his life and he understands the addictive nature of getting that adrenaline rush. Still, he tells fans Not to expect it to happen again, but it still could.

"I love the sports entertainment business more than anything I've ever done in my life," Austin said. "You get a dose of it, and you want more. Here I am talking to you a couple years later about doing it again, that's how addicting it is to me, just to talk about it. I get excited, and I'll start talking too fast.

"But it's not gonna happen. But it could."

Austin also recently spoke about the idea of potentially wrestling CM Punk one day now that Punk is back in WWE. Read his comments here.

While that match could potentially happen one day, Austin advises fans not to hold their breath regarding a potential match between himself and The Rock at this stage in their lives. Read more here
