After six years signed to WWE, Summer Rae was cut from the company Sunday afternoon in a round of releases.
After being silent in the hours following her firing, Summer released a couple of Instagram posts. She didn't explicitly reference the release, but seems like she's ready to move forward with her career.
Summer Rae hadn't wrestled for WWE in well over a year, since Summer 2016. She was a former cast member of Total Divas, appeared in The Marine 4, and also has done several modeling gigs while recovering from injury.
