It is unknown if Swerve will sign with a major promotion, but many fans ae hoping he finds his way to AEW.

"I'm definitely interested," Swerve said on Casual Conversations when asked about AEW. "I'm not opposed to go anywhere. It has to be a discussion made. Things have to be done. We just saw Cody Rhodes leave, that's insane. You can expect me to go anywhere."

Fightful Select gave the following report on Swerve on February 8:

Ever since the day that WWE released the former Swerve Scott, we've been hearing about promoters inquiring about his status, and what he wants out of a deal with their respective companies. We've heard directly from higher ups in multiple companies that they've asked about bringing him in, with plans in order already from at least one major company to work with him in some capacity.

Specifically, we learned that AEW asked about Swerve's status extremely early in his free agency to gauge when he'd be available. We're also told that NJPW USA has made at least a very firm overture in regards to using him in the future, and most expect MLW to make an effort if they haven't already.

While making the media rounds, Swerve did a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest and discussed the future with Hit Row. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
