Swerve Strickland Wants To See Bow Wow Wrestle In AEW, Bow Wow Responds

Swerve Strickland wants to test Bow Wow's abilities in the ring.

Back in February 2021, Bow Wow declared that he had made the decision to train with Rikishi and had designs on getting into WWE. He would even say that all of the wrestlers who responded to him should be grateful he's interacting with them because it's only going to help them grow their following.

Nearly two years later, swerve Strickland is ready to see Bow Wow back up his words. At the time, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott was hoping to meet Bow Wow in the middle of the Capitol Wrestling Center for NXT. Now, Swerve Strickland is more confident than ever and has officially stated that he wants Shad Moss in an AEW ring, challenging him during an appearance on the latest episode of Hey! (EW) with RJ City.

"You know, since he's been talking about doing some stuff on social media for like the last year, but I have yet to see any video footage or training, I want Bow Wow. I want to see Shad Moss get in the ring since you've been talking about it on social media.

"I know you got connected, your training with Rikishi, that's cool. Get your training in. I want you in AEW. You responded to me on Twitter, too, and I need you to back up those words, homie."

All Elite Wrestling is no stranger to having celebrities appear on their programming. Most recently, DJ Whoo Kidd, Trina, and Fabulous appeared on AEW Grand Slam. DJ Whoo Kid was surprised at how many people were scissoring in Arthur Ashe Stadium that night. Read more about his experience at this link.

Later, Bow Wow would respond to this challenge by asking where he would sign and Swerve was quick to tag Tony Khan.

Meanwhile, names like Action Bronson and Shaquille O'Neal have actually gotten in the ring for AEW and on the November 4 episode of Rampage, Mike Tyson will be returning to AEW. Learn more here.
