An exciting addition has made its way to current news relating to AEW and it's growing women's division! AEW has officially announced that another match has been scheduled for the “Buy In” show leading into this week’s episode of AEW Rampage. As many of you I'm sure already know, this week’s episode of AEW Rampage is set to take place in Miami, Florida and airs on Saturday. Prior to to my writing this there were already two 'Buy In' matches lined up for the kick off portion of AEW Rampage. Now there are three, and I'm all for it!
AEW has added Dark Order's Tay Conti in a singles bout against fellow former WWE NXT Star, Santana Garrett! The two are set for singles competition on the kickoff show which will air live on AEW's official Youtube Channel. I'm particularly excited for this bout as I adore both women. When I stop and think from an executive mindset on building a successful and prosperous well-rounded division, these two women come to my mind. In my opinion, as both a woman in wrestling and a writer, I think these two stars are must have in any division. Both possess immense innate talent. Their attitudes are top-notch. They are coachable, personable, dedicated, passionate, and they both have that something that cannot be taught - charisma.
This match could be a good opportunity for Tay Conti to climb back up the AEW Women's rankings to claim another title shot especially with the TBS Title looming largely over the AEW Women's Division. And dare I yet again say the potential for AEW Women's Tag Team Titles? And, the flip side, this match poses a major opportunity for vindication for Santana Garrett. In this bout she will have an incredibly talented opponent with disciplines that are opposite her own skill set and will make for an exciting in-ring clash as Santana Garrett once again proves why she is a star worthy of a TV contract. In my humble opinion, Santana Garrett is a talent I'd snag for a company in a heartbeat. While that may sound biased, I am in fact speaking on personal in-ring experiences as well as from a business perspective and track record. And it's not just because she is one of my favorite people to wrestle...
Don't miss Rampage live this Saturday. Dark Order's Tay Conti squares off against Santana Garrett live on the 'Buy In' kickoff show on AEW's Youtube Channel!
