Okay, yes, pun was intended. With that out of the way I think it is safe to say that this first episode of IMPACT on AXS TV after Bound for Glory will be very interesting. After making their official in ring debut at perhaps the biggest IMPACT Wrestling PPV of the year, The IInspiration's Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay competed in Tag Team action. In their debut effort for IMPACT they defeated the former reigning and defending IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champions, Decay's Jessicka Havok and Rosemary. After their shocking WWE release it was clear that the duo had more they wanted to prove in the industry and would need a new company home in which to do so. And that company became IMPACT Wrestling!
If making your IMPACT debut at Bound for Glory wasn't already spectacular, winning titles in your first official post WWE bout is nothing short of IInspirational, which lends even more credibility to their new tag team name. This new episode of IMPACT on AXS will definitely be feeling the fall out from Bound for Glory. The shakeups in the Knockouts Division alone will certainly be echoing throughout the next few episodes with a new Knockouts Champion and new Knockouts Tag Team Champions. New opportunities will arise. Alliances will be tested. New teams will form. And all eyes will be searching for any and every weakness in the competition as their hands reach out to grasp coveted IMPACT Wrestling Championship Gold.
New targets are now placed on the backs of Mickie James and The IInspiration as they each settle in to their new seats at the top of the Knockouts Division as IMPACT Champions. I'm sure The Virtuosa Deonna Purrazzo and Decay will not be far behind as they'll be looking to reclaim what was once theirs. The IInspiration, however, will be looking to prove that their Bound for Glory win was not a fluke. They'll be looking to reinvent themselves and silence the haters. They'll be looking to put the entire division on notice and subsequently on edge with their prescence and their dominion over the tag team division as the new champions. After supplanting Decay at Bound for Glory, we'll soon see which duo will be next to rise up against The IInspiration in pursuit of KNockouts Tag Team gold.
Already announced for singles competition on this week's episode of IMPACT Wrestling will be former Knockouts Tag Team Champion, Tasha Steelz as she takes on fellow former Knockouts Tag Team Champion Rachael Ellering. Both women will not be alone as both will have their tag partners in tow watching out for each others back. This match could be the precursor of what to expect for the next set of duos to challenge for a number one contender spot for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles.
