Inspired by Chyna and other stereotype-breakers, Mandy Leon was was drawn to the wrestling industry. Fueled by her own dreams of wrestling stardom and leaving her own indelible mark, she set out to become "The Exotic Goddess" Mandy Leon. From the start, Leon had unwavering determination. She's honed her skills and trained tirelessly to become the best wrestler she could be. With or without the support of her peers, she knew who she was and what she wanted to achieve. There's a level of gumption that goes along with that level of self-belief and confidence that is not easy to maintain. But that's exactly what she did.
Fast forward from WOH, and it was in MLW that Leon truly begun to shine and create a new home for herself, a home that she deserves. Leon's character in MLW is intriguing and alluring. She is captivating while also proving once and for all that beauty is not the only weapon in her arsenal. Within the ranks of the featherweight division, she is on a one woman war-path for MLW gold. Clearly, a new chapter in the story of Mandy Leon is underway.
If her opponents aren't careful, Leon will leave you spellbound. Her in-ring style is a blend of technical and high-flying courtesy of the influences from her training at ROH and her time in Japan with Stardom. Leon is just as comfortable moonsaulting off the top for her Leonsault as she is submitting you with her signature Havana Dreams. Or if you're particularly unlucky, her master finisher - The Astral Projection. Trust me, I'd know!
No matter which way you look, there's more than meets the eye when it comes to Mandy Leon. From model to pro wrestler, she can do it all. I've seen her passion and dedication firsthand, and that makes me believe that MLW has a gem in Mandy Leon. As she continues to make her mark in MLW, it is clear that she is destined for gold. With each match, she continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in the ring, leaving the audience spellbound. Her passion for the sport is infectious, and it is this passion that will undoubtedly propel her to even greater heights in the future.
Whether I think of her and I trying tofu at WWE for the first time, or her and I fighting to bleed in our No DQ match, or the hug we shared when it was all over, I'm always rooting for her to succeed.
